Author Guidelines

Dear Author,
if you want to submit your text for publication, you should comply with the following rules:

1) the text has to be typed in LaTeX according to SIMAI style CSC_SIMAI_Template_2008 ;

2) The text should not exceed 12 pages (including figures and references);

3) The submission file is in PDF format only.

At the end of refereeing process, source files in TeX or LaTeX could be required by Editors.

This zipped archive contains all files to prepare a LATEXfile for publication on the SIMAI on-line journal: Communications to SIMAI Congress (CSC), ISSN 1827-9015.
The files are:
- CSCsimai.cls, for formatting your paper in SIMAI style;
- CSCsimaisample.tex, an example for formatting your paper and supplemental material;
- CSCsimaisample.pdf, an example for formatting your paper and supplemental material;

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
2. The text is single-spaced; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
3. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
4. The submission file is in PDF format only.

Authors who submit to this journal agree to the following terms:

a) Authors retain copyright over their work, while allowing the SIMAI to place this accepted work under a Creative Commons Attribution License (CC license), which allows others to freely access, use, and share the work, with an acknowledgement of the work's authorship.

b) Authors are able to waive the terms of the CC license and enter into separate, additional contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution and subsequent publication of this work (e.g., publish a revised version in a journal, post it to an institutional repository or publish it in a book). with an acknowledgement of its initial publication on “Communications to SIMAI Congress”.

c) In addition, authors are encouraged to post and share their work online (e.g., in institutional repositories or on their website).
