Abstract
We prove that from the variational formulation proposed in (1) for the equilibrium of a non linear elastic dielectric, boundary problems arise for two elastic dielectrics of different structure, separated by a surface in the hypothesis that the specific enthalpy is discontinuous across $\sigma$.
