Abstract
Complexes of uranyl ion with 2,6-dipicolinic $acid(LH_2)$ have been prepared. Depending upon the experimental conditions the complexes $UO_2(L)(LH_2).2H_2O$ and $UO_2(L).2H_2O$ have been obtained. They have been characterized through elemental analysis and I.R. spectra and their probable structures are discussed.
