Abstract
The molecular structure of the uranyl dipicolinate monohydrate complex is reported. The linear uranyl group is equatorially surrounded by three carboxylate oxygen atoms, the pyridine nitrogen atom and one water molecule. Each anionic ligand is shared between two uranyl units resulting in a polymeric helicoidal structure.
