Abstract
The cobalt(II)-thiocyanate system has been studied by partition between a 3 $M Na(NCS, ClO_4)$ aqueous solution and methylisobutylketone. The metal phase distribution has been determined radiometrically, by means of cobalt - 60.
Values of the formation constants $K_n(n= 1-4)$ and of the partition constant $D_4$ (referred to the $Co(NCS)_4^2^-$ species) have been calculated and refined by a program written in FORTRAN IV for CDC 6600 computer.
