Abstract
A versatile potentiostat system with a digital logic function generator is described. The signal generator involves a quartz oscillator which provides pulses of highly constant frequency (1MHz). The pulses of frequency selected by three frequency dividers are counted by three decimal counters and in the same time drive a D/A converter. The potential ramps are thus obtained as successions of small potential steps.
The most general potential waveforms (triangle, ramp, trapezoid, pulse) are available.
A very wide range of potential scan rate (0,01mV.$s^-^1$ to $2.10^4$ V.$s^-^1$) either in repetitive or in single shot operation mode is provided.
