Abstract
The AA., on the ground of their clinic experience, concluded that is wrong to give medicinal solutions, in instillation form, of pharmacous (antibiotics other anaestetics), that are many times otodamaging in the traumatic perforations of the tympanic membrane and with the round window normally functioning.
Besides it is to take into consideration all the infiammatory processes of the middle ear, that, even if they are not symptomatologic remarkable, yet, on account of the particular position of the round window, may be, in the long run, a not reversible damaged at the livel of the same.
