Abstract

The administration intravenous of mg. 100 glutamic acid induced a light depression of cortical evocated auditory potentials while a 500 mg. dose caused a remarkable increase of the PEU width and of the frequency and width of cortical biorhytms followed from a progressive attenuation of the exciting effect and the subsequent coming up of an inhibitory effect.
