Abstract
By reducing magneto-elasticity waves study to a first order system it is shown that discontinuity waves of magneto-elastic mutually influence are exceptional. It is also pointed out that the second derivative of two of three possible propagation velocities, generally undergoes a discontinuity across the wave front
