Abstract
We have administered the Sacks-Levy’s test to parents of 14 subjects of age variable between 3 months and 2,2 years and suffering from breath holding spells.
Then we have confronted them with a control pattern and, though the short number doesn’s permit a statistical elaboration, we believe to communicate first results for the large incidence in all cases of absence of paternal figure.
We have pointed out a responsibility of paternal role in determinism of psychosomate trouble, internally at triangle mother-father-son. So, two unfavourable mechanism could occur to the child, from a side the lacking of the paternal battern and from the other the mother’s reactive or compensated modifications.
