Abstract
In summertime the protection against ultraviolet rays becomes a care of particular importance. The clothes acquire, in this circle, a central role. It must be considered, however, in the choice of the article of clothing, the protective effectiveness and the physiological fitness. Cotton, flax and rayon are very comfortable but poorly protective. The new textile fibers (Safanit, Dupont Lycra, Warmth) assure, instead, high protection and excellent comfort.
