Abstract
The Authors, after having reviewed the methods of identification, morphology, distribution and function of Langerhans cells in the region of the eye, describe a new specific tecnique for their identification, which employs cryostat section of flat tissue preparations, and histochemical staining for ATPase.
The advantage of the method are described, together with the possible practical applications in contact hypersensitivity and corneal graft rejection.
