Abstract
Scleroderma is a chronic disease of unknown etiopathogenesis.It may occur as a localized form,or as a systemic disease (systemic sclerosis). For the pathogenesis it has been suggested that vascular disorders,immunologic abnormalities, in association with alteration between synthesis and degradation of collagen,may play a role.
Today, the therapeutic trealment is supported by using vasodilatores, immunosuppressores and controlling collagen synthesis drugs.
