Abstract

The Authors refer the results obtained by treating with Argon green laser photocoagulation 10 cases of idiopathic macular hole.
Visual acuity and the regression of a hyperfluorescent halo at fluorescein angiography have been considered as parameters of improvent.
The results obtained, analysed on the basis of the natural evolution of macular holes, are encouraging and justify an early treatment of macular holes with laser.
