Abstract
In this paper we apply the theory of superpositions for Radon measures on compact subsets of the real Euclidean n-space R^n to Prigogine's approach in the study of irreversible processes, which emerge in physics and in economics, showing that the superposition is a natural rigorous tool feasible to face the problem.
