    Abstract

    In the present work no experimental apparatus for the dimensional analysis of indoor suspended particulate matter (SPM) by means of static light scattering is presented. This cheap home mode experinental apparatus allows the quantitative detection of the size, shape and molecular weight of these air pollutants. All the parameters of the spectometer, signal detection and its normalization to the intensity of the exciting laser light (to avoid the effects of the laser instability) ore driven by an IBM compatible computer. Further, the photon statistic can be kept constant in all the explored angular range and it is possible to simultaneously monitor the $I_V_V$ and $I_V_H$ of the spectrum.
