Abstract
Inhibition of electrode reactions frequently studied by as various researchers [1]. These studies give better insight into the process of inhibition of electrochemical corrosion. Also in the study of the mechanism of the multistep electrode reactions, the inhibition of some steps may lead to better understanding of the course of such complicated reactions. In this lecture I would like to discuss the mechanisms of inhibited electrode reactions especially the piace and the orientation of reactants in the charge transfer step proper.
Before going into details of these problems I would like to present the foundation of this approach basing on the modem concepts of the inhibition of electmode reactions.
