The Histeridae (Coleoptera: Histeroidea) of Sicily: new records and an updated checklist

Abstract


This paper is an updated checklist of the Sicilian Histeridae. Listed species originate from published data together with new material collected by the authors and other entomologists in the past last few decades. One hundred and four species and subspecies are reported, with new distribution data for many rare species in Sicily.
