Abstract

The subject of the present discussion is the fundamental liminal character of the Sacred in its relations with space and with mankind; and therefore the role of the sacred in the production of the Communitas and its transformation into Mass. In this regard, we will refer to the thoughts of Victor Turner and Elias Canetti.
