Abstract


The problem posed by the re-emergence of poetic orality in the contemporary world is considered by proposing the theoretical and critical application of the tools offered by Performance Studies, in the light of Oral Theory. We intend to reflect on the substantial superimposition of the concept of poiesis and that of performativity.
