Abstract


Demetrio Stratos’ experience represents a perfect fusion between artistic research and scientific research, a pioneering work on the nature and potential of the voice aimed not only in the singing field but also in the ethical field, in order to undermine the listener’s condition of passivity typical of the Contemporary age. The  contribution refers to the methodological background of Performance Studies.
