Abstract

Drawing methodological guidelines from Performance Studies and, specifically, from Richard Schechner’s treatise, this contribution attempts to provide paradigms for the analysis of live performance by implementing theatrological studies with sociological and anthropological ones. In particular, the Portuguese author Tiago Rodrigues’ performance Dans la mesure de l’impossible will be examined, revealing its status as a place according to the categories that will gradually be defined.
