Lavoro, identità e dono
Abstract
Work, Identity and Gift.
Throughout history work has changed its meaning and imaginary. Born as a need it was the expression of a collective struggle against human weakness and limits. It became a duty for those who could not avoid it and finally a generative mechanism of identity. Work put a mark on the body, it determines the subject's self-perception, it shapes social relationships. In this work the author aims at analysing the possible nexus between work, identity and gift as the framework for a collaborative and positive society. The isolation of the modern man, focused on competition and on consumption cannot make room for stable social relationships and let emerge a new kind of work imaginary or a new kind of imaginary work.
