The image of the family among the victims of rape in Algeria
Abstract
We recorded attitudes as the refusal and family abandonment among families of the victims, which made them more vulnerable and urged them to develop a chronic PTSD. It seems, in fact, that the negative attitudes of families are the cause of great suffering for the victims. This is the finding that we made during our clinical work with a dozen victims of rape in Algeria.
In this article, I try to identify and analyze, through the dreamlike stories provided by only three of these victims, in our clinical meetings, the multi-faceted or even images related to the representation of the family circle in the context of trauma.
Keywords: Rape, Victim, Family, Algerian Girl, Dream, Speech, Clinical Interview.
