Algorithms for Large Sparse Matrices
Abstract
The physics of continuum domains is described by means of Partial Differential Equa-tions (PDEs), solved according to different algorithms, using numerical methods.
The aim of this work is to describe a set of highly efficient iterative methods for solving
linear systems with large sparse matrices, rising from the analysis of seismic body wave
propagation.
These softwares are designed for solving PDEs by means of Finite Element Method
(FEM).
