Monomial Orders and Applications to the Vaste World of Mathematics
Abstract
Monomial orders in a polynomial ring on a field in a set of variables are employed in order to study algebraic models in different branchs of mathematics by using Grobner bases. If we consider operations among the algebras describing the models, we will interested to use polynomial rings in two sets of variables and corresponding monomial orders. Monomial orders different from classical lexicographic and reverse-lexicographic orders are used to solve many kinds of algebraic problems.
