Benvenuti in OJM - Open Journals Messina, il Portale delle Riviste DIAMOND Open Access dell'Università di Messina. 


In Open Journals Messina sono pubblicate le riviste edite dall'Università di Messina, o da altri editori, il cui management o direzione o comitato editoriale sia riconducibile comunque all'Università di Messina. Open Journals Messina è un progetto curato dalla Sede centrale del Sistema Bibliotecario di Ateneo, in linea con le raccomandazioni della CRUI e che si avvale di Open Journal Systems, una piattaforma Open Source che gestisce l'intero processo editoriale.


Le redazioni e i comitati scientifici operano autonomamente nel rispetto dei criteri di qualità ormai indispensabili per ogni iniziativa editoriale che voglia essere accreditata. Tutte le riviste sono state accolte (o stanno per esserlo) nella Directory of Open Access Journals.


L’iniziativa si propone la più ampia disseminazione possibile delle riviste scientifiche dell’Ateneo, in accordo con la dichiarazione di Messina sottoscritta dal nostro Ateneo a sostegno della dichiarazione di Berlino per l’accesso aperto ai prodotti della ricerca scientifica e non prevede alcun costo per gli autori che pubblicano e per gli utenti che leggono.


Alle redazioni viene offerta assistenza tecnica e consulenza per l'avvio e la realizzazione di riviste elettroniche che possono configurarsi come nuove iniziative editoriali o possono essere la versione digitale di riviste già esistenti in formato cartaceo.
