Il XX secolo come guerra. Note su un'interpretazione della Grande Guerra

Valerio Mori

Abstract

This article analyses two essays by Jan Patočka on the Great war. According to the Czech philosopher, the conflict must be considered as the consequence of a “revolution” whose content must be identified in the “techno-science” of modern Germany. The Great war, then, takes on a “total” value since it coincides with every tension towards the automation of human existence.
