Abstract

This article, starting from the essay Il riscatto dei fanti. Caporetto tra Letteratura, storia e memorialistica by Maria Stella Barberi and Giuseppe Fornari, analyses the defeat of Caporetto from a military point of view and specifies some points on the “black legend” that has arisen as a “perverted myth of the antination”.
