UN NUOVO TESTIMONE DELL’ANONYMUS ΠΕΡΙ ΣΧΗΜΑΤΩΝ: IL GUELF. GUD. GR. 20

Abstract

Il contributo amplia la conoscenza della tradizione manoscritta dell’anonimo Περὶ σχημάτων (Rhetores Graeci VIII, 698-713 Walz), finora noto tramite la trascrizione di Walz del solo codice Vat. gr. 1405. Il nuovo testimone, ms. Guelf. Gud. gr. 20, viene qui preso in esame e confrontato con il codice Vaticano, che tramanda in gran parte i medesimi scritti retorico-grammaticali. L’appendice offre un elenco di corrigenda alla trascrizione di Walz.

This paper broadens the knowledge of the manuscript tradition of the anonymous Περὶ σχημάτων (Rhetores Graeci VIII, 698-713 Walz), hitherto known through Walz’s transcription of ms. Vat. gr. 1405. The new witness, ms. Guelf. Gud. gr. 20, is here examined and compared with the Vatican manuscript, which transmits to a large extent the same rhetorical-grammatical works. An appendix provides a list of corrigenda to Walz’s transcription.
