La storia dell'infanzia come nuovo campo scientifico e di studio dopo Ariès
Abstract
L’articolo esamina il carattere socio-culturale e storico dell’infanzia, la sua funzione sociale e psicologica e l’origine e lo sviluppo dell’interesse scientifico verso l’infanzia dagli anni ‘30 del XX secolo ai giorni nostri. Viene presentato il contributo della scienza psicologica russa degli anni ‘30 del XX secolo, dell’antropologia culturale, della direzione socio-storica e psicostorica nella storia dell’infanzia. La storia dell’infanzia è tracciata come una nuova direzione nella scienza storica dopo Philippe Ariès e Lloyd deMause nelle seguenti aree: studi collettivi di storia internazionale dell’infanzia; creazione di centri universitari di ricerca; organizzazione e direzione di convegni internazionali, conferenze e seminari; pubblicazione di riviste; corsi universitari di storia dell’infanzia. Il contributo, infine, esamina anche lo stato della ricerca sulla storia dell’infanzia in Russia e Bulgaria.
The article deals with the socio-cultural nature of childhood, its social and psychological functions, as well as the genesis and the development of scientific interest towards childhood
since 1930s. The contribution of Russian psychology during the same decade, cultural anthropology, socio-historical has also been presented and psycho-historical. The development
of history of childhood as a new direction in historical science after Philippe Ariès and Lloyd deMause has been presented in the following directions: collective international researches in
history of childhood; creation of research academic centres; organization of international colloquiums, conferences and seminars; publishing of magazines; academic courses in history
of childhood. The condition of researches in history of childhood in Russia and Bulgaria has also been a subject of research.
