SHOAH E PERCORSI STORICO-EDUCATIVI DELLA MEMORIA EUROPEA. UNO SGUARDO A CIÒ CHE RESTA ESSENZIALE TRA PASSATO E FUTURO
Abstract
This essay analyzes the path that the European memory of the Shoah has traced in the field of formation and education in the 20th and 21st centuries. It refers in particular to the symbolic place of Auschwitz Birkenau. The “Pedagogy of Memory” is part of "essential pedagogies" during the pandemic because there is a relationship between the dramatic situation of that past and this present characterized by a profound crisis and much uncertainty. The revised and elaborated Pedagogy of Memory becomes a means of social cohesion and citizenship.
