Abstract
Two samples of the new compound [$Pd(Phen)_2(TCNQ)_2$], sintetized under different experimental conditions, have been characterized by means absorption measurements in the UV-VIS-IR region. The results show that the experimental conditions affect the dielectric properties of the material. Conductivity and thermopower measurements have been carried out on the semiconductor compound to clarify the mechanism of electric transport and the kind of charge carriers.
